Rearfoot Gel cushioning provides responsive impact absorption and protection, while SpEVA midsole material improves bounce back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown, and the dual density Duomax Support System enhances support and stability in the whole midsole area. The shoe's Trusstic System, a moulded component under the mid-foot area, provides stability, reduces weight without compromising structural integrity, and, in combination with the contoured midsole, helps to control torsion.

The trail specific outsole has reversed lugs to deliver superb uphill and downhill traction on every kind of terrain, while High Abrasion-Resistant rubber is used at critical areas of the outsole to provide enhanced durability.
