Fake UGGs – When is an Ugg not an UGG?
Real Genuine UGG® Australia Boots and “Ugg Boots”
How can you tell fake “Uggs” from Genuine UGG® Australia Boots? Or when is an Ugg not an UGG? To add to the confusion “Ugg” is a word in general use now for a certain style of Australian Sheepskin boot. So merchants selling products as “Ugg Boots” mostly aren’t selling legitimate UGG® Australia Boots (a Deckers Corporation brand). An annoying number of “Ugg” retailers bring out models that look like UGG Australia boots and have similar names.
My feeling is that though it might not be technically illegal, it is certainly very misleading, and if the purpose is to dupe customers into thinking they’re buying the legit and genuine article when they’re not, then it’s totally wrong. Lots of customers have been duped by the offer of bargain “Ugg boots” and lots are really confused by what’s out there.
UPDATE: Be sure to read my footnote regarding websites with UGG in the name – its at the bottom of this post. NO SITE with the term ‘ugg’ in the domain name sells legit UGG® Australia boots apart from uggaustralia.com the official site.
So how do you tell a retailer is selling genuine UGG® Australia Boots? Lets deal with a couple of issues first.
“Australian Ugg Boots” are not UGG® Australia products
Let’s first clear up one thing – the generic Australian makers of “Ugg” Sheepskin boots, often trading with websites ending in .au and registered to Australian Companies. These guys are generally okay and sell, in the main, good quality sheepskin boots – they often describe their boots as “100% Australian made Uggs”, “Australian Ugg Boots” and the more responsible ones specifically dissociate themselves from UGG® Australia and Deckers Outdoor (the brand owner) in the footer or on the About Us page so customers don’t get confused. These guys have been selling these types of sheepskin “Ugg boots” for years and as long as people understand these products are NOT the UGG Australia® brand then its fine in my book.
Sellers of Chinese UGG fakes/copies are not selling UGG® Australia products
This is where UGG buyers can get seriously stung and have been (see all the responses below). There are a HUGE number of websites cropping up on the Google Adwords system (Googles “sponsored” ads) and in the search results offering UGG Boots that are in fact low quality fakes/copies of UGG® Australia boots.
These websites do nothing to dissociate themselves from UGG® Australia and deliberately set out to trick people into thinking they are buying genuine UGG® Australia products when in fact they are cheaply-made, low quality Chinese fakes shipped direct from a counterfeiting factory in China. Don’t fall for the “factory direct Ugg boots” line or “buy Ugg boots direct from the manufacturer” – they are all bywords for FAKE.
Furthermore there are many many cases of customers being overcharged on their credit card, being asked to pay twice, not receiving any product or receiving incorrect colours and sizes. Packages coming from China are often stopped in Customs – some are seized as brand fakes and for others the recipient will need to pay import duty. All a shock if a customer thinks they are buying legit UGG® Australia boots.
As we have seen in the stories below, after sales service is nonexistent and returns, exchanges and refunds are near impossible – often the websites even demand a hefty restocking fee! Plus you have to pay for your own courier service to China. All in all a total nightmare if you’re stuck with these nasty (and often very smelly) copies and a big hole in your bank balance. These chinese websites only aim is to make money quickly – they are run by people who have no interest in serving customers – in most cases they are breaking UK and US law and many are run by criminal gangs.
If you e-mail them and ask if their boots are genuine of course they will say yes and then spend ages and ages e-mailing nice messages, giving money off offers, freebies etc. until you pay (normally by Paypal) and in a good proportion of cases thats the last you’ll ever hear from them. Often the website closes down within a few days and just like that – you’ve been scammed. Be aware that a whole month’s salary in china can be than the cost of one pair of these fake boots! So its a massively luctrative scam for them.
The intention of this article is to warn customers that these websites are out there in google, yahoo, msn and other search engine search results offering fake products and customers should AVOID them. I have a list of these fake UGG websites at the end of this article which I will maintain as we discover new sites. If the website is on the list my strong advice is to AVOID.
So how can I spot a fake UGG website?
Here is my checklist from all we have found out so far:
1) UGG® Australia brand – it might be a really obvious point but it can identify about 80% of fake UGG sites. The simple rule is … if the product is not described as UGG® Australia then it’s not that brand! Do not be tempted by the fancy pictures because they may well be pictures of genuine UGG Australia boots being used – some fake sites have even taken the images directly off UGG® Australia’s main site! The products on these fake sites are made to look like UGG Australia Boots, some are even photographed standing on boxes that appear to have the UGG® Australia logo printed on them and they are not the genuine article at all.
Don’t be fooled by the descriptions either – if you see a product described as “UGG Classic Tall” or “UGG Cardy Boots” it is not the same as the “UGG® Australia Classic Tall” or “UGG® Australia Classic Cardy”.
Lets be clear – a brand is a mark of quality – products that are not of that brand will not be that known quality. This goes for anything you might buy. The brand that most buyers mean when they talk about real/authetic/genuine UGG Boots is UGG® Australia – no other similar sounding name means that brand. The same as you would not expect Kokacola to be genuine Coca-Cola, names like “Australia UGG”, “UGGs Australian”, “100% Australia UGG”, even “Genuine UGG” are often used by the fakers to fool you – they are meant to trick you. Just remember the brand and don’t be tricked!
2) Websites with UGG in the name
In Aug 2009 UGG® Australia issued an explicit conterfeit warning on their official website. To summarise: Any website’s domain name (thats the bit before the .com or .co.uk) that has the three letters ‘ugg’ in it, is not selling UGG® Australia brand. For example the website uggbootsforsale.com is therefore not legit because it has UGG in the domain name.
This nows covers 90% of the sites you might be concerned about however we are not done quite yet some sites are even more shameless and use the legal name UGG® Australia and have a domain name without UGG in it.
3) Do a domain check – So the website does say UGG® Australia or has what appears to be the UGG® Australia logo but I’m still not sure? Next step is to do a simple domain check to find out who registered the domain, in what country and when the domain was registered. Use the website http://www.domaintools.com and type in the domain name into the whois tool. If the registrant is in China (country code CN) or the domain has been created within the last three months then my strong advice is AVOID. These fake sites are often only live for a few weeks so they appear to be very recently created. If the domain is held by a proxy service or c/o a domain regsitrant like networksolutions then my advice is AVOID as this registrant is trying to hide their identity. On a good honest domain regisistry entry you are looking for a persons name or company name, a real local street address with postcode/zip code and local phone number.
4) What are the other identifying features of fake UGG sites?
Only UGG Boots: UGG Australia work only with a select number of online boutiques and high street retailers. All have other designer brands available in their range. If you see only UGG products on the site then that’s a tell tale sign.
Shipment Times: This is a good give-away! Check the shipment times on the FAQs pages. If they cannot offer a quick shipping option like overnight shipping it may indicate the product are being shipped from China.
Support methods: If the website does not offer a local phone number and only offers an input form for support or a simple to set up e-mail account like gmail of yahoo or IM support then AVOID. Legitimate UGG Australia retailers are much more established sites with proper support methods, local contact numbers and local addresses.
Poor English: If some of the text on the FAQs pages and product pages seems a little odd then take that as a warning sign that the creator cannot speak english – a translation programme may have been used to create the text. If it reads a little odd, has odd turn of phrases then that’s a warning.
Cheap Prices: Remember the odd addage – if it sounds too good to be true then it generally is. Put it this way UGG® Australia is a premium brand sold only though major outlets and established websites that you have heard of before. Deckers deliberatly restrict the brand to merchants with a good reputation and the right product mix – getting Authorised status is no cake walk! General rule of thumb for UK buyers – don’t expect pay less than £90 for genuine UGG® Australia adult boots. This is a PREMIUM brand and expect PREMIUM prices – no fire sales, job lots, factory direct deals. Sorry folks but those are the facts.
If you are asking the question “is this website legitimate?” you probably already know the answer!
Are genuine UGG® Australia products now made in China?
Finally a question I’m asked a lot and one that confuses a lot of people especially if they buy UGG boots from a legit high street chain and find a “made in China” label inside. The answer is “YES BUT”. YES UGG® Australia, like Converse, VANs and many other footwear products today, are now made in China BUT under working conditions and quality standards supervised by Deckers. Many branded goods are now assembled in China and many attract brand fakers. Expensive branded goods in short supply will always attract people wanting to make a fast buck with fake product!
There is a BIG difference here between the fakes and real products – Deckers UGG® Australia uses 100% A1 grade Australian Merino wool and each boot is made to the stringent standards that Deckers expects and supervises. This is a common practice with designer goods – they are then shipped to legitimate UGG® Australia retailers worldwide and sold to the public with all the workmanship guarantees and returns options you would expect with a premium brand.
The Chinese rip off sites are an entirely different kettle of fish. They produce inferior UGG® Australia copies which do not use the same quality materials like nylon instead of wool and sheepskin and poor construction methods or standards – which means the products quickly loose shape, rub and fall apart. Occasionaly the boots come in branded boxes and even have a fake version of the care card – but however convincing they might first seem if your package came by courier from China its 100% FAKE product – no exceptions.
Though both are “made in china” they are two totally different products. If nothing else – let’s be clear on two points.
UGG® Australia do not allow their legitimate products to be stocked in China and sold direct to the public.
“UGGs” shipped from China may look legit but they are NOT UGG® Australia products – they are ALL poor quality copies.
If were just about to buy a product and you have googled the website’s name and got to this article then I hope we have saved you from disappointment. If you have fallen for the “UGG boots” scam then read below about a few sucessful people who have managed to get their money back. It is possible but you will have to register a dispute with Paypal and/or contact your bank.
How can I buy genuine UGG® Australia boots at the cheapest price possible?
I’ve done a ton of work on this. If you are looking for the best prices for the genuine thing my UGG® Australia price comparison pages will get you the rock bottom, lowest prices across the full UK range of Genuinue UGG® Australia products. I’ve negociated some special deals with UGG® Australia approved UK retailers so you’ll struggle to find anything cheaper AND genuine. I’d love to tell you I’ve found adult UGG Australia boots for under £90 but I’m afraid they are still pricey – but they are the real thing and I’ve done my best to get you the best deals on each and every product. Here are the links.
If real UGG Boots are too expensive for you then my best advice is to at least have a look at similar looking high quality products from EMU Australia, Just Sheepskin, Rocket Dog and Skechers (the Keepsakes and Cunning range is good). I have UK price comparisons on each of these brands and tons more on the main website. These options are way better than the junk shipping in from China.
Anyway folks – stay safe and Happy UGG® Australia Hunting!

do not buy from any of these websites – you will be ripped off
Many thanks to all those who have helped me indentify these sites. Sadly this is not a definative list and more sites will be created this week to scam people. Just because a site is not on the list it does not mean its genuine – do the checks outlined above if in doubt walk (click) away.
If you have been scammed then let us know by using the reply feature at the bottom of this thread. Sorry the thread is so long now!!

UGG Australia are beginning to strike back against the UGG counterfeiters. They have made a specific statement which clarifies the legal terms of use of the ‘UGG’ three letter name. UGG Australia has stated that any site with a website domain name containing the word UGG or one of their model names (like CARDY) does not carry genuine UGG® Australia Boots. Let’s be clear – if you see a website claiming to sell genuine UGG Australia Boots and it has ‘UGG’ in its domain name (the bit before the .com or .co.uk) then it is 100% fake. This covers about 80% of the fake UGG Boots sites we have discovered. To read more about this and the steps UGG Australia are taking by clicking the link below to my latest post on this troubling subject.

Many thanks to “Words of Wisdom” for finding this on the BBC website. His advice and comments have been very helpful since this thread was started.
As many of you know I’ve been reporting this problem to all possible agencies like trading standards, BBC watchdog in fact anyone who will listen. I’m please to say the Metropolian Police central e-crime unit have taken action against certain sites using “co.uk” domains to falsely represent themselves.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8392600.stm
“Consumer minister Kevin Brennan said scam websites cost the economy thousands of pounds each year.” — hey Kevin – make that MILLIONS!! (I estimate there’s a million pounds lost just on this one thread)
This is certainly a step in the right direction and very welcome but I must emphasise that this is only a small proportion of what’s out there and the problem is still massive. So please read the above article if you have not already done so.

About three weeks ago UGG® Australia announced the new Winter 2010 UGG Boot range and I’ve been watching to see how long it takes for the Chinese sites to start ripping off the new styles. Answer: about 10 days. As we know these copies are going to be poor but even so that’s really frightening if you are a genuine UGG Australia retailer trying to get resonable ranks on Google and make a living.
Anyway I know is very early in the season but I’ve just been trolling the internet (once again) for fake UGG sites and I now have 500 published above. And yes it was super depressing
As before – anything with a UGG in the domain name is not authentic UGG® Australia product and most are cheap chinese fakes. Wanna give your credit card details to some unknown counterfeiter bod in China? No I thought not – so please check the uggaustralia.co.uk site for genuine retailers or use my Compare tab (top right) and pick UGG Australia from the brand list via the top navigation of this page. We have all the new styles listed.
So this thread is once again destined to be one of the busiest on our blog and feel free to share your stories below and please facebook/twitter/ link to us to get the message out – oh and click our “Like” button at the top of this post.
If you are asking about websites with the word “UGG” in them we’ll happily post your question but your answer is already written very clearly and several times over in the post above.

Regarding ugg.gg: does anyone know an address to send UGGS back to them! they dont even have immitation sheepskin inside but tacky cheap material that you would get better in primark!
Dear All,
after reading the above info I have realized that I have bought fake UGGs from uggsweet.com. Do I have any chances to be re-funded? I did not receive my order yet.
Thank you!
RASA
@andrew
Andrew were you able to get your money back or anything??? i just purchased uggs from there 2 days ago and for some reason had this bad feeling in my stomach because they were just so cheap! please let me know!!
@andrew
I just ordered boots from there! How is it a scam??!!
Just ordered Uggs from ugg.gg does anyone know how i can get the order cancled or a refund?
Regarding australiauggstore.net: can anybody please tell me if the above company are selling originals or fakes, as their websites is not on the list as selling fake UGG Australia boots from China.
I dont fancy being ripped off. Many thanks
Regarding usuggboots.com: I purchased from this website Nov. 16, 2009. Is it a legitimate ugg boot retailer?
This website (ugg.gg) still trading, and up until four days were still answering my emails about why my uggs had not arrived. Bought 4 pairs off this site and am feeling very angry about being ripped off for so much money. Now unable to contact to try and get money back, bank claim that because it is not a uk site they are not liable even though i paid with a credit card, is this true or do i pursue the bank to try and get at least some of the money back. BEWARE of this site! Very convincing! Any ideas? Cheers, LOUISE.
Any more information on UGGSTARBOOT.COM?
Regarding uggboots365.co.uk: Hi, Just brought a pair of UGGS from uggboots.co.uk. FOUND they are fake. Trying to return them but not getting very far yet. Currently E-mailing their customer service but not getting very far. Anyone else had a problem with this website?? Anyone got a refund???
Regarding uggboots365.co.uk: Tony- I paid with PayPal. What can I do??? @Tony
regarding uk-uggboots.com – looks like I have been caught out too was originally on australianuggboots.com which I beleive to be genuine – daughter wanted cardi ones couldn’t see so went on google search and this site came up – have paid my money – tracking number on email is not recognised on parcelforce – goods not yet received have sent email and they say in poor english on their way -don’t hold out much hope – am I covered by my credit card co????
A quick group response to those folks asking “is this website genuine?” and the website domain name they are asking about contains the letters u g g together.
The answer is 100% these sites are NOT selling UGG® Australia boots. I’ve said this very clearly on the original post and repeated the clarification UGG® Australia has provided – absolutely no website name containing the term ‘ugg’ sells authentic products apart from the official site.
As I’ve covered this already, unfortunately I won’t be answering requests individually.
I ordered a pair of Uggs from uggfactoryshop.net. When, after 24 hours I didn’t get a confirmation e-mail from them I went to my bank because I didn’t have a good feeling about my purchase.. When I got my print-out from the bank there was a purchase from brandingirons.com for twenty-one cents more than what I paid for the boots. I never heard of the website before so I went on-line and found them, but there was no contact information whatsoever for them. Also, their domain name was just registered in October, 2009. However, I had to cancel my credit card because there were two purchases taken out of my account for (2) branding irons; one was already taken out, but I got to the bank in time to stop payment on the other. My credit card info. was stolen so I had to cancel it. My info. was stolen by someone in Wuhan, CHINA, so no more discounted websites for Uggs boots for me. I’ll only purchase from the REAL DEAL. I hope this info. will be of use to you. Sincerely, Tomi
I ordered from uggselling.co.uk and received the boots yesterday from China… i didnt expect to received them at all as I know alot of people have never received a thing from this company. However I did get mine and they are fakes. I have compared them to my genuine uggs and there is a noticeable difference. I paid £70 for them, gutted.
@E2mma
HI i also ordered some “ugg” boots from ugg.gg 3 PAIRS!! Im not even sure if they will arive and what they will do with my bank information. If anyone knows any information could u please let me know thanks
@Emma
I purchased some from ugg.gg – found out they are a scam and am now having to claim back from Paypal (on the basis that they will not be sent) If they send them I can do nothing really. I am disappointed as I thought I was on an original Ugg website and ordering from Australia but when I got a confirmation email back I realised it look dodge but was too late payment had gone through.
Regarding usuggboots.com: I purchased my boots last Saturday and cannot get any information. Pay Pal was used and they charged my credit card within minutes of the sale. Shame on me for not investigating into this prior to hitting that order button. My daughter’s birthday is tomorrow and this is all she is asking for. They are all sold out at the stores by our house, so this site seemed great and I was saving money (so I thought). Does anyone know about PayPals refund policy? What a nightmare.
I have also just ordered uggs from ugg.gg 2 days ago and had the same feeling that they are fake. I contacted my credit card company and have cancelled my card just in case they try and debit my card again. The credit card company advised my to contact their Retail Dispute department if I dont receive the goods. Even if I do receive them I know they will be fake from reading what people have said about this site. When I ordered the boots the site then showed up some chinese writing. I tried to track my order but the order number is not long enough for tracking. I just wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. I had a gut feeling about this site as the boots were too cheap. The site was very convincing but they have just copied the original ugg site. Lesson learnt for me on this one.
I bought from Ugglyboot, can someone tell me if the deliver? I saw that they are fake, but how fake are they?
hey hello, I want to buy real ugg boots and I was searching on the site : uggsdealer.net….they are looking very good i checked all the fake signes.
can you please help me, or do you know any good real ugg shop who is shipping to europe (germany).
thanks…
<3
Regarding uggstop.com.au: Has anyone had experience with this online store? My credit card was debited within moments of the order, but I have had no advice of despatch of the boots. I notice now that the secure payment page does not change http to https; there is no email contact; logging on seems to transfer to uggstopsale which comes up in a dns search as an inactive website…
@vanessa cortado
Do not buy from the site uggsdealer.net I purchased from them and they are definetly fake
Regarding usuggboots.com: Has anyone ever received boots from usuggboots? Pay pal informed me that they weren’t a scam, but are they fake?
Regarding usuggboots.com: I ordered from there last Saturday (Nov. 14th) and I still haven’t received my order. I called Pay Pal and they told me that the site was not a scam, but now I wonder how long it’s going to take to get them from China, and how fake are they going to be!?!?@Mary
Regarding buyuggboots.net: I ordered some “authentic ugg boots” from this website. I recieved the boots within three days and was impressed until i saw the tag on the inside that said made in China!!! What!!! Needless to say i was pissed. I contacted the company and they said i could return them but i would have to pay the shipping. I thought that would be okay until UPS quoted me a price of $97 to ship them back to china. Oh yeah and the zipcode they gave me doesnt even exist. Buyer beware!!!
“
Regarding Ugglyboot.co.uk: I am pissed! I tryed to contact them but the chinees people don’t answer my emails, and i can’t log in at the site anymore!!!! they changed the whole website and the prices in dollars, and i payed in GBP! I wish those people hell!!!!!
RE ugg.gg. My boyfriend found the site and it was sooo convincing. They had literally copied and pasted from the original site when comparing them both side by side. I was devostated as it was a present for xmas. its been 7 days now and they have still not turned up. Does anyone know if they will turn up? and if they do how will they look? I changed my bank account details asap after chinese writing came up. I did not want them to take money from my account But the bank told me that the transaction went through immediately and there was nothing i could do.
PLEASE DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF LIKE WE DID…ABSOLUTELY GUTTED!!
Please write back someone…
Kirsty

Regarding ugg.gg:
HI Guys, HELP!
I have just ordered some ugg boots and the same for many people i had a really bad idea so i cancelled my card but they had already got the money from my account. Can anyone let me know if they will turn up?? It has been 7 days/5 working days and i thought i might have received them by now to be honest.
Has anyone got any advice as my lovely boyfriend bought me these and he is devestated at the thought they wont come…

Regarding Uggsaustraliauk.com:
@Jen
Hi Jen I have recently bought a pair of bailey button uggs from the uggsaustraliauk.com i have not received them yet but i am now very worried. Would you suggest not signing for these boots when they are being delivered.
regarding ugg.gg tried to contact them & get redirected to an adult website!!! cant get in touch with them ,no address & phone number doesnt exist. Havn’t recieved order & can’t cancel. Shows up on bank statement as LUX DISCOUNT, but its non traceable. Hope the b*****s rot in hell.
dropshipugg.com is definitely selling fake uggs…the website is registered in China and when I emailed a question you could tell that English was not their first language. They had no legitimate mailing address or secure payment.
Regarding ugg.gg – I recently purchased a pair of ugg boots from this website believing it was the real website. Went back to the website to try and track my order realised it was a fake website. So disappointed they were supposed to be a birthday present for my daughter. I thought I was quite careful but obviously not careful enough.
I called my bank not expecting to get my money back but thought I could put a block on them taking any more out of my account, they informed me that I can’t do anything. They said that I must send them an email stating clearly that they are not to take any more out of my account. If they do take anything then the bank can do something, don’t know what though. Going to close the account tomorrow just in case.
How can they get away with this, it is not fair, I guess if it sounds to good to be true then the alarms should sound. I will be much more careful future. Lesson Learnt
@Raye Farris
I ordered from usuggboots.com as will I ordered Nov. 9th. I tried to email them and no response the site would not allow me to email them. the site has no phone number, or email for contact. I am going to contact paypal for a refund as well but im afraid they wont allow it after reading the above comments. As soon as I recieve them I will let everyone know but at this moment there is nothing and not even an email to me in response to my order.
i wish i reserched this before now i have just ordered my daughter ugg boots from uggireland.co.uk not recieved them yet but i am devasted to hear they sell fake ugg boots especialy when they claim to sell genuine . Can I report them ?? also ordered my unborn baby girl baby erin boots fromfmlight.co.uk does anyone know if this is an official site ??? thanks
Hello,
I’m wondering that nobody says anything about fashionandgifts.co.uk? After I’ve studied this thread I feel like it is better not to order in this shop although I didn’t find anything negative in the net nor in the list above… Yes, they don’t have a telephone number but they seem to have a physical address that I found via domain search. And what is about PayPal? If the dealer is registered at PayPal, he must be serious?
Please help me, I would like to buy a x-mas gift for my wife. Best wishes from germany
It’s me again: on this fashionandgifts homepage I found a link to stepinstyle.co.uk ….
)
Does this indicate fake boots? If you click on it it appears like the fashionandgiftsco.uk.

Thank you for this site here. And I wish you all good luck for whatever you buy or do in your future life.

Hi I have just recieved an email from silkenboots.net. They sent this to me as last year I bought some boots from them when they were silkenboots.com. They mentioned my previous order and said I may like there new site. The boots I had for my daughter last year were fine and not fakes, I paid about £90 for the classic short ones. However this year the prices are much lower. The domain was only registered in August to someone from Glasgow. This said the English in the email was terrible. Also the postcode given was not a UK one. Has anyone dealt with this company this year? Wanted to order the Bailey boots but think I will just wait till christmas and ask santa nicely for them. They also say they are paypal verfied but unable to find out if this is true or not. Anyone know how to do this?
Thanks
Hi, i too have ordered Ugg boots from ugg.gg and although i haven’t received them yet, i have a bad feeling and feel that i have been fooled like many other people. I have tried contacting ugg gg but my emails all go unanswered,surprise,surprise!!I do not know what to do about getting a refund,any suggestions??Maybe i will have to foget it and put it down to experience(BAD EXPERIENCE)
Regarding usuggboots.com: i ordered a pair from them and i actually received them today. i certainly believe they are fakes. while they look pretty real, the tag on the heel is a different color than is shown on the website and others (like nordstrom). i’ve filed a complaint with paypal (certain I’m not to see my money back) but i also don’t see how i can return them – i’m certain i’d never get any acknowledgement from them and then i’d be out more for shipping, etc. i guess i’ve learned my lesson.
i have paid for 2 pairs of uggs 1 for my daughter xmas present and 1 for my niece via my sister from ugg.gg like many others i got sceptical when it stated that on the credit charge it would appear bargain sale. also one of the email addresses said agogomart. i have searched and sent numerous messages which have had no replies, and when i went on one contact us and it says massage instead of message then i was convinced it is a chinese fake company even though the site looks official, and also on the reciept states £112.28 for the 2 purchases the amount taken out of my account was £119.00, i am so fed up will never ever buy anything over the internet again no matter how genuine they seem, i got duped by a free trial offer of tooth whitener, when actually they charged me $12. and if i hadnt have sent the item back within 14 days they were going to charge me $87 per month, so BEWARE as they say you dont get anything for free, and it is true.
thank you soooo much for creating this article, i was searching for cheap ugg boots as christmas gifts and thought i had definately found genuine ones, however i had a slight gut feeling of sceptisism so i googled “fake ugg websites” and found your article, it has opened my eyes! i even searched the websites domain and as you can guess it is China! AVOID uutrade.com even though the stuff looks really good, im now a non believer!!
Thanks again!
I would just like to thank you for this information, I was just about to purchase 2 pairs of ugg boots from uggca, 1 for me and 1 for my daughter but after reading the information I am leaving well alone, I will now pay the extra and go to ASOS.
Regarding uggselling.co.uk: To Emma Lockwood who emailed on 16th Nov. I have just ordered 2 pairs of UGGs from this site, and the quality is awful. I cant even get my feet in one pair and they are meant ot be a size 6.5. I was looking to see if anyone had heard of them and came across this site.
I would advise that you DONT order from this site, cos I am now very worried as to whether I will get my money back and like everyone else feel very stupid that I have been conned in this way.
uggstore.com.au
Can anybody tell me if this a real ugg website as I am trying to purchase some boots for my wife for Christmas, but I am not sure if I am accessing a valid website.
Thanks
I’ve ordered a pair of Uggs from the website you recommended (LookAtMyCrazyShoes), they have just arrived, very quick delivery and good service. They look good, but they do smell funny (some sort of plasticy chemichally smell). And is there any way of testing if the sheepskin on the insole is genuine. It looks OK, but I still got suspicsions.
@Joanne
Hey Joanne any joy with your order from uggireland.co.uk as I just placed an order with them tonight. ( Before doing my research first unfortunately )
If you want a great pair of boots buy British here @Paul
Regarding uk-ugg-boots.com: Bought some uggs from this company the other day, I paid £59.99 as it stated it was a clearance sale and im waiting for them to arrive, the website is a complete copy of the deckers group site, i was suspicious when i got an email receipt from the company and it was in chinese currency. I started to look on the internet about fake uggs and sadly my suspicions were confirmed. The good news is, if they dont arrive or they are fake my bank has said im protected but we will see if they keep their word.
Buyer beware dont end up like me ! Mark from Manchester.
