Art shoes is a youth brand from Spain that makes funky handcrafted shoes out of the best materials. Art Metropolitan Soul says they are for young people who enjoy city life. (They specify that young is 18-30 years, but I say bollocks to that: age is in the spirit!) I just love this brand though, for their use of colour and unique styling, and their earthy look. I also am amused by how Art describes themselves: “The products we create for our customers are: ridiculously coherent, wisely young, popular and elitist at the same time, intentionally careless, traditionally industrial, and aesthetically functional.”

This odd shoe Art Levels 992 just seems to me like the type of shoe for the self assured young woman…I picture her strolling down Las Ramblas in Barcelona.
Art Company says of the Levels line of shoes: “Heels and wedges inspired by buildings and structures of lightweight appearance.”

Art also makes shoes for men (which technically are unisex and I would certainly wear them as a girl)

The above style is the Art Skyline 602. This one I picture with natty menswear on a bicycle….worn without socks. And yes, this would be a great look for a woman as well as a man!
