EMU Bronte Hi Boot ~ lined with EMU Australia 100% merino wool

December 5th, 2009 No comments

EMU Australia has a whole line of Australian Ugg style boots that are lined with merino wool such as the fab EMU Bronte Hi boot. Who knew? For those of use who have tried the divine sheepskin/shearling lined boots, you’ll know that sometimes the shearling gets flattened over time, reducing the cosiness and cushion of the lining. EMU Australia Bronte Hi Boot is lined with wool…all the same warmth and wicking properties, but stands up to the weight of the foot over time.

EMU Bronte Hi Boot

If you love the look of UGG boots and EMU boots, but want to try a different durable lining, the EMU Bronte Hi Boot couldn’t be a better choice! And have you seen the prices? We currently are showing 9 top UK retailers selling the authentic EMU Bronte Hi Boot, with prices starting at £44.50. Can’t beat that for the fashion look and practical warmth of the EMU Bronte Hi Boot!

Just count off the features of this EMU Barossa new mini style fashion boot from EMU. First, the Barossa is made from the very best EMU Australia sheepskin with superior double stitched strengthening seams. Next, EMU Barossa features a fun roll-over cuff with faux tab snaps so you can wear it high or low. Sheepskin naturally wicks away moisture so your feet are kept summer cool, winter warm and always dry and odourless. Then you get a cupped suede heel for extra fit and support and also a new dual density moulded EVA two-part streamlined sole construction that gives inner comfort with a traction tread sole grip. How many’s that? I expect like me you’ve lost count! Oh, and I forgot to mention Barossa EMU sheepskin is a natural water-repellent so Barossa is suitable for indoor or outdoor wear. EMU Stinger Hi Boot from EMU Australia

November 28th, 2009 No comments

EMU Australia Stinger Hi Boot – made from genuine sheepskin to keep your feet warm and dry in any climate! EMU is an Australian brand of sheepskin boots on par with UGG Australia. Their quality and workmanship is impeccable. And one other important point: they are cheaper than UGGs!

EMU Stinger Hi Boot
Emu Stinger Hi Boot

The EMU Stinger Hi has that basic handmade look that all the earliest models of sheepskin boots have. Some things stay simple and don’t need to be improved upon! If you’re looking for a sturdy tall sheepskin boot, look no further than the fashionable EMU Stinger Hi.

EMU Australia drops trousers and moons potential customers worldwide

So I’m paging through my Elle magazine and suddenly I think “What was that??”. Flipping back I am presented with this:

An advertisement for Emu Australia Footwear (Boots). It is the Emu Outback Lo Boot. But really, what are you looking at? The boot blends in with the landscape, just as the woman’s skin colour does. Yes, indeed, this advert features a big juicy arse in white knickers. Which has little if nothing to do with boots.

And I see this JUST when I was growing quite fond of the EMU Australia brand, having sussed it out and finding it largely comparable in product and quality to UGG Australia. NOW I’m irritated. Does Emu really need attention this much? Isn’t this rather cheap? Are we to believe women just wear pants in the outback? Or perhaps… Am I overreacting?

EMU Paddington Boots: a Stream of Consciousness Ode

October 22nd, 2009 No comments

I started the day by seeing a picture of the EMU Paddington Lo.

Immediately I think: Like. Want. Will write about.

EMU Paddington Lo

What I like about this EMU Paddington Lo is its chocolatey touchable brown colour, nice height, the fat sole, and of course the resin toggles. It’s very fetching.

And then I think to myself what is this EMU Australia brand anyway? Being somewhat obsessed with UGGs, I decide to investigate EMU. Yes, EMU Australia Boots are authentic, in that they use real sheepskin and have a very high level of craftsmanship, just like UGG Australia. So really, EMU Australia Boots are worth considering, even if you have that thing that I do, where you think the first sheepskin boot you ever had is best.

Then I wonder what exactly an Emu is. Quick internet research comes up with this:

Actual Emu

Native bird of Australia. Large, long legs, similar to an Ostrich. Now I think I like Emus. They’re cute. But I really like their NAME ~ emu. EEEEEEMUUUUU. In my mind it quickly elevates to the highest status, which is ‘this would be a good name for a chow’. (Chowchows being my favourite dog)

“Here EMU! Sit! Good boy!”

All this associating with the fuzzy and adorable is only raising the estimation of EMU boots in my mind. And THEN, if that weren’t enough, the boot is called Paddington, which brings a whole load of cute images of bears and marmalade sandwiches tumbling through my brain. But…let us return to the boot at hand.

EMU Paddington Hi also comes in a high version, as it turns out

Emu Paddington Hi

So basically at this point all I want to do is eat marmalade sandwiches, and walk my adorable chow named Emu in my soft warm new EMU Paddington boots. It’s a great life of the mind I lead, yet the boots are easy to make happen at the best price here at AllTheShoes.

EMU Boots

December 8th, 2008 3 comments

EMU Boots Stinger and Bronte: EMU Boots are gaining popularity as a cheaper alternative to UGG Boots without losing the high quality features of genuine UGG sheepskin boots. EMU Stinger boots are 100% Sheepskin boots while EMU Bronte are 100% wool lined and therefore slightly cheaper.

The EMU Stinger boot range is made from Border Lester / Merino Australian sheepskin with 15mm to 17mm wool length which is comparable in quality to UGG Australia Boots. High quality sheepskin boots like EMU Australia have some fascinating properties like the ability to “Wick” away 70% moisture thus preventing smelly feet – also sheepskin is both a natural insulator but crucially allows the foot to breathe keeping you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

EMU Bronte boots are 100% Wool lined using Micron 20™ Australian Merino Wool with a 20mm wool length. Micron 20™ breathes and also wicks away moisture from your body and resists water and wind chill much better than any synthetic material.

EMU Australia has been established in USA, Canada, Europe and Australia for over 10 years and is a brand you can trust for high quality UGG-like boots and a competitive price.

I have added an EMU Price Comparison section for over 50 EMU boots and EMU slippers for Women and Kids and there’s even Baby EMU boots too!
