Converse

Converse is the stuff of legends. Many sporting heroes and style entrepreneurs, bound together by love of sport make up the Converse story. Founded by Marquis M. Converse in 1908, Converse now has a century of authentic sports history behind it. Today's Converse collection expands on its American sports heritage to feature sports performance, classic and lifestyle athletic footwear for men, women and children. Chuck Taylor, a travelling salesman, once crossed the USA distributing canvas high top basketball shoes, now called "Chucks". Converse trainer/sports shoes include variations of these classics with soft leather uppers in the same great style and fit. The famous All Stars, with origins back in 1917, are still Converse brand favourites.
