Karrimor

The three who founded the Karrimor Company in Lancashire in 1946 would never have believed where it would be today. Karrimor fully equipped Chris Bonnington's 1975 successful Everest expedition. In 1980 Karrimor entered the footwear market, launching the revolutionary KSB (Karrimor Sports Boot), the first outdoor walking boot to replace heavy duty leathers with lightweight textiles and suede. 1997 saw volume adjuster fit kits on KSB; 2001 saw Karrimor enter the sandals and approach footwear arena; then new X-Lite products (lighter weight with top performance) won European OutdoorTrade Fair innovation awards.
