Merrell Axis 2 Trail Shoes are full of Merrell's innovative technological developments yet with function, style and reliable construction. Merrell Hiking shoes are constructed with full grain leather and have a protective rubber rand and toe cap. Inside Merrell Axis 2 Hiking Shoes the breathable mesh lining is treated with Aegis® antimicrobial solution that resists odour, even after repeated washing. An incorporated bellows tongue keeps out debris.

An Ortholite foam insole provides the Axis 2 Hiking Shoes from Merrell with welcome conditioning inside the shoe. Its open cell polyurethane construction allows evaporation of the foot moisture that causes blisters and odour.

The outsole has no lugs under the arch so is more flexible and provides extraordinary stability, whatever the underfoot conditions. Additionally the Vibram rubber compound gives adhesive traction in a wide variety of climatic conditions.
