Rihachi Mizuno in 1906 founded the Mizuno Corporation Japanese sports equipment and sportswear company in Osaka, supplying made to order athletic wear. The Mizuno Shop, in 1992, signed an important deal with the Sydney Olympic Committee to be exclusive supplier to the 2000 Olympic Games. Mizuno has become a global corporation making huge ranges of sports equipment and sportswear including footwear for sports from golf, tennis, baseball, volleyball, football, rugby, table tennis and badminton to running, skiing, cycling, judo, and athletics.
