The Puma 917 Lo trainer draws on both the original Speed Cat Mid and Future Cat Mid shoes and comes up with a happy compromise. The strong racing inheritance brings the geometric sole to Puma 917 Lo shoe that is a clean, retro inspired design. Puma 917 Lo is named after the Porsche 917 car driven by a cool Steve McQueen in the 1971 film 'Le Mans'. The Puma 917 Lo outsole and foxing tape wrap up gives cylindrical heel shape; the mid-strap provides ankle support; the dip in the back collar avoids irritating the Achilles tendon; the upper pattern reflects the Puma Speed Cat.
