Scarpa ZG65 XCR is designed for walking and light hiking in more temperate climates where less insulation but added breathability is desired so it has an extra low density, polyurethane midsole that offers excellent shock-absorption while the GORE-TEX XCR membrane locks out rain and snow and breathes 25% better than regular GORE-TEX.
