Teva footwear begins with a young Grand Canyon river guide creating the world's first sports sandal. His idea soon spawned a brand and Teva was born, a revolution in the footwear industry. Teva's heritage is an obsession with water, and Teva's passion lies in identifying and enhancing the areas in which water effects adventure - as a sometimes threatened year-round playground with demands for footwear protection especially from the threat of slipping on wet or icy surfaces. Teva has an entire team of eco-ninjas dedicated to infusing responsibility and sustainability at every level. Since 1984 Teva has been an organization dedicated to making shoes to help us see the world, but not at the cost of making it a world that we don't want to see.
