The latest knitted boot from UGG Australia features a sweet cabled knit pattern on the foot and halfway up the ankle, which then changes to a shaker-knit row knitting scheme. They button up the shaft with soft colour-coordinated buttons. Of course the foot of this boot is lined with super plush shearling sheepskin, which is meant to cradle your bare feet and keep them cosy, dry, and temperature-regulated. All this is great, they're very cute, but here is what makes the UGG Leland special: the inside shaft lining is knit with a contrasting stipe dual-coloured pattern, and the boot can be worn unbuttoned and cuffed with this interior lining on display. They look fabulous this way! And they can be worn all buttoned up, so it is as if you are buying two boots for one price.

Leland colourways include: Blueberry/Peacock, which is a vibrant violet-tinged blue, and the contrasting interior hue is a cheery aqua; Black/Charcoal, which is elegant and self-explanatory; Boysenberry/Tea Rose, which is a soft purple shade with a feminine pink contrast colour; and lastly Caramel/Pudding, a flesh toned peach shade that sports a taupe-tan contrast element. Altogether there is not a bad choice in the lot, and the chunky knits and cheery colourways are something new for UGG Australia, making us think of exuberant Benetton styles of the 80s (and everyone knows the 80s are BACK).

This boot is knit from 100% cotton yarn, and has a slouchy jumper type of appeal. They're not just for winter, and you can anticipate wearing them into the spring and on cool summer nights. Remember, sheepskin is naturally breathable and temperature regulating, meaning that your toes are not likely to overheat even whilst being surrounded in furry fluff.
