The men's Asics Gel Task is designed to offer the massive amount of grip required in an indoor court shoe. When it comes to making repeated rapid changes of direction, and explosive bursts of activity this is the one to go for.
The brand specific Rearfoot GEL system provides multi-directional cushioning and absorbs the powerful forces of heel strike that would otherwise destabilise the foot during the impact phase. The Compression Moulded EVA Sockliner conforms to your foot-shape and the forefoot SpEVA insert improves bounce back characteristics and lessens midsole breakdown. They can be removed to accommodate a medical orthotic replacement. The on-board Trusstic System retains the shoe’s structural integrity whilst keeping the weight of the sole unit down. California Slip Lasting also promotes stability and comfort.
The uppers are stitched around a canvas or EVA board and are directly attached to the midsole. The Nike rubber outsole contains more rubber content than normal, giving biting grip on indoor court flooring systems.
