Asics GT 1000 Review

To ensure the shoe doesn't bend in the middle causing pain to the runner, the Asics GT 1000 features the Trusstic System, a plastic unit built into the mid foot area of the shoe to increase torsional rigidity and reduce the weight of the shoe for a lightweight feel. This running shoe is enhanced by the Dynamic DuoMax Support System, a dual density midsole system positioned to support and provide added stability. Finally the grippy runner outsole features areas of AHAR+ (high abrasion rubber) on areas which receive the most wear for added durability, whilst a full length Guidance Line adds a groove along the length of the outsole for a more efficient gait.
