John Lewis kidswear goes gender neutral

18 Sep 2017

John Lewis is the first UK retailer to do away with gender labels from its boys and girls clothing. They made this move to combat gender stereotyping, especially among young children. Their head of childrenswear, Caroline Bettis stated "We do not want to reinforce gender stereotypes within our John Lewis collections and instead want to provide greater choice, so that the parent or child can choose what they would like to wear."
